[vc_row row_type=”row” type=”full_width” icon_pack=”font_awesome” content_menu_fe_icon=”arrow_back” text_align=”left” padding_top=”20″][vc_column][vc_column_text]This illustration is part of a book, edited by Ladzi Galaï and published by Rytrut editions, called « Que la farce soit avec vous ! » (“May the farce be with you!”). It is a translation in French of the Dead Kennedys/Jello Biafra/Lard songs. Each song is translated and illustrated by various artists. The song « the prey » tells about a man followed by a prowler (narrator of the song) in dark Streets . The man, probably a salesman, is obviously not from the town . The lyrics convey an impression of oppression and fear, gradually describing a trapped man that cannot escape…. The last paragraph is actually what I wanted to illustrate « I can almost taste your dandruff/As I reach for your face/and I strike ». As usual I have made a number of drawings to leave the choice to the editor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
